Step 1: Fill the bathtub with warm water.
The first step to using a bath bomb is to fill your bathtub with water. You’ll want to fill the tub with water that is warm, but not too hot. It should be comfortable enough to soak in, but not so hot it dries out your skin.
Step 2: Add the bath bomb to your bath water.
Once you’ve filled your tub, remove the packaging and place the bath bomb into the water. It should start to fizz and dissolve immediately. Don’t be alarmed if it fizzes a lot — that means it’s working. As the bath bomb dissolves, it’ll release its fragrance and turn your bath water the color of the bath bomb.
Step 3: Get into the bath and enjoy.
Now it’s time for the fun part: getting in. Step into the bath and soak for as long as you want. Ideally, you’ll stay in the tub for as long as the water stays warm or as long as it takes for you to relax and unwind.
Step 4: Get out of the tub.
When your bath water cools down and is no longer warm, it’s time to get out. Carefully step out of the bathtub and let your water drain as usual. Bath bombs might leave behind a bit of residue on the walls of your bathtub. Don’t worry! It’s easy to wash off.
